Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong passion for data, problem-solving, and business process optimization. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leveraging data science tools to gain insights into business processes, collaborating with technical teams, and presenting recommendations for improvements. This is a full-time position located in Barcelona, Spain, with a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability for analysis.
• Conduct data analysis to gain insights into business processes, performance, and trends.
• Identify opportunities to automate data analyses and streamline reporting.
• Utilize Python, Excel, PowerBI, and Tableau to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Present results and recommendations to the project team and contribute to the action plan for improvements.
• Assess user feedback and propose solutions for improvement.
• Work independently, taking ownership of deliverables and driving them to successful completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with project management skills being a plus.
• Intermediate proficiency in Python and extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think creatively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, or a relevant field.
• Experience in deploying machine learning and data science solutions.
• Project management certifications such as PMI or Agile.
