Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Test Automation Technical Lead . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data testing, with a proven ability to create data testing frameworks from scratch and provide guidance to the team in data testing processes. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, and will involve 3 to 4 days of onsite work per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of data testing frameworks from scratch
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the team in testing of data, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient testing processes and resolve any testing-related issues
• Write scripts for data processing using Pyspark and utilize technologies such as JMeter for API testing (Load and Performance testing experience not needed), Data Lakes, Kafka Streamsets, and AWS cloud
• Ensure effective testing of data and maintain data quality throughout the testing process

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of overall experience, with at least 6-8 years of relevant experience in data testing
• Extensive experience in testing of data with a strong understanding of data testing processes and best practices
• Proficiency in creating data testing frameworks from scratch and providing guidance to the team in data testing
• Hands-on experience with JMeter for API testing, Pyspark for data processing, Data Lakes, Kafka Streamsets, and AWS cloud
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Prior experience in a technical leadership or mentorship role is a plus.
