Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with BW. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience and a strong knowledge of ABAP in BW scenarios. This is a full-time position located in Bangalore, with the option to work from the office.

Responsibilities

• Develop BW Objects including prototyping and technical specifications
• Create Info objects, Info Cubes, ODS/DSO Objects, Info Sets, Mult providers, Data sources, Info sources, Process Chains, Transfer rules, Update Rules, transformations, and data transfer processes
• Design and create info cubes and master data info objects using Data transfer process
• Write and debug ABAP code for object-oriented classes and function modules
• Analyze functional and technical needs, identify gaps, and propose alternative solutions
• Work on dynamic support tasks and project delivery
• Utilize BW Advanced data modeling using Eclipse Tool
• Understand/Knowledge on Advanced BW Modeling, CDS Views, SQL & ABAP
• Work on Finance Extractors, HR Head count, Flat File Extractions, and Generic Extractors
• Manage data load, event processing, and reporting optimizations
• Take initiative and be innovative in problem-solving
• Work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant with BW
• Strong knowledge of ABAP in BW scenarios
• Experience in creating BW Objects, Info objects, Info Cubes, ODS/DSO Objects, Info Sets, Mult providers, Data sources, Info sources, Process Chains, Transfer rules, Update Rules, transformations, and data transfer processes
• Proficiency in BEx Query Designer and BEx analyser
• Expertise in design & creating info cubes and master data info objects using Data transfer process
• Ability to write and debug ABAP code for object-oriented classes and function modules
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated work ethic with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Capability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization.
